These Terms & Conditions govern your use of FixGenie's website and appliance repair services in Dubai, UAE. By booking a service with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Our Services

FixGenie provides doorstep repair services for washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers and dryers across Dubai only. We do not currently offer services outside Dubai.

2. Inspection Charge

A technician visit and diagnostic inspection is charged at AED 50. This covers the technician's visit to your location and diagnosis of the fault. If you proceed with the repair, this amount may be adjusted against the final repair cost, at FixGenie's discretion and as communicated to you at the time of booking.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Repair costs depend on the appliance, brand, fault, and any parts required. Our technician will explain the issue and provide a quote before carrying out any paid repair work beyond the inspection.

4. Appointments

We aim to honour the appointment time you book, but actual arrival times may vary due to traffic, location, or prior jobs. We will contact you if there is a significant delay.

5. Parts & Warranty

Where replacement parts are used, FixGenie will inform you of the part type (original or compatible) and its cost before fitting. Repair workmanship is covered by a limited warranty period, details of which will be confirmed with you at the time of service.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact details, address, and appliance information when booking
  • Ensure a technician can safely access the appliance at the agreed time
  • Inform us in advance of any access restrictions (e.g. building permits, parking)

7. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting us via phone or WhatsApp. Please give as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.

8. Limitation of Liability

FixGenie technicians take reasonable care while working on your appliance. FixGenie is not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage caused by prior unauthorised repairs, or issues arising from normal wear and tear unrelated to the repair carried out.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.
